Fee structure

Initial Assessment Session: $200.00 for 90 minutes and $135.00 for 60 minutes

Counseling Session (53-60 minutes): $135.00

Extended EMDR Counseling Session (90 minutes): $200.00

Telehealth Session are at the same rates as in-person sessions sessions listed above. 

Insurance

Affect Counseling, LLC is private pay and accepts CareCredit. At the end of each session, you will be provided with an invoice identifying the date of the counseling session and the amount you paid for services, as well as a clinical diagnosis, which is what your insurance company requires in order to reimburse you for mental health services by out-of-network providers. Many clients can be reimbursed at least a portion of counseling by their insurance company by submitting an invoice of their visit. Some clients may not receive any reimbursement of fees and this is dependent of their insurance plan.

Crime Victims Compensation (CVC)

Affect Counseling, LLC is recognized by the state of Texas as a provider for victims of a violent crime including family members. CVC acts as a financial safety net and can cover expenses that are associated with the loss. If you receive services through CVC or need assistance in utilizing services provided by the CVC, Affect Counseling can help you navigate the services.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified Denise Jenkins, LCSW at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Of course, unexpected illnesses or medical emergencies will be an exception to this policy.
